So! Sabriel is a necromancer, as well as something of a magical generalist.

So this means that she can sense and control the undead- she can also raise them, but since she's an Abhorsen, she'd really prefer to use her powers to make them really, really dead. She will eventually get over this, but be prepared to have Sabriel Not Like your character at first, no matter how nice they are, if they're undead.

Sabriel's second thing is her more general magic, called Charter Magic! it can do pretty much all of your standard magical things- healing, offensive applications, wards, bindings, enchanting items-but that's not all- it's passed on by baptism, not birth- so other characters can potentially learn how to use it! Of course, for balances sake, they won't be able to learn more than five spells and must have an open power slot- and must post to the power update request page. Charter Magic can do a lot of things, but it does have limits. (The major ones are No Shapeshifting (Possible in canon, but Sabriel doesn't have access to that knowledge) No Teleporting and No Flight.) Also, it doesn't mix well with technology, so trying to use it to enchant guns or computers will just break them.

If Sabriel uses magic near devices he's inhabiting he might start hallucinating bad things and starting to hurt as magic literally scrambles his data a bit. Either that or he instinctively forces himself out of the device to get away from it. So that's a yes!

Sabriel's more than welcome to sense this and try to control her at some point, because I've been waiting for this kind of cr since I apped her haha.

On the flipside she's also got power nullification as one of her abilities, so. That's something to be aware of that could be interesting down the line!

While this was technically a physiological inevitability for her due to the abilities of her caste, the catalyst for it awakening in canon was her death, so I do consider her undead. She's also psychically susceptible, so controlling is a-okay, with discussion for any specific case.

Shepard's life kind of depends on his cybernetics functioning properly -- plus he's got an implant in his head designed to enhance his powers. I'd prefer any glitches not be fatal or crippling! The nature of Manolo's powers means he's basically able to shift between being dead and alive at will. So, he probably wouldn't come across as a ghost, exactly, but Sabriel is free to sense that something is a bit "off" about him. (Maybe he somehow comes across as being both and neither at the same time? I'm open to discussing this, though!)

Yes, heroic spirit/servant. Yes, though it's masked slightly by the fact that he is in a true living body (which is even mortal). Yes, though without a contract ( :3 ) she probably won't have much success. He's a hard to control spirit just by his class alone.

Yeah! He has a natural magic resistance, though. Ranked D, meaning it automatically nullifies single action spells (or in Sabriel's case, something from a single charter mark), and is of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.

Yes. Servants are technically made of pure mana, though it is undetectable by most human mages. Servants that are not using their abilities much or at all can typically only be sensed by other Servants, with a range of detection that depends on their Magic parameter (Archer's is B), but since Sabriel is already aware of spirits, she should be able to tell anyway. Without a Master, though, it's considerably fainter. Or something.

1) Magnus is dead, and has died many, many times since his original "death"! In his canon, he is an eiherjari, or undead warrior of Odin. He is reanimated -- constantly, in Valhalla -- through Odin's will, for eternity, making him an immortal zombie teen. His "zombie" magic includes being extra strong/fast/durable, but frankly he rarely uses any of that shit. He's also a demigod of Frey, and his abilities have to do with the sun/healing/natural life, so he'd be kind of a weird paradox to a magic sensing person.

3) She can definitely try to control him, but she probably won't have any cause to. He's a sunshine boy.

She has a zombie virus that currently just makes her immune to cancer and colds, but if she dies, she'd rise up and try to eat people. Sabriel can sense this if you want her to! She won't come off as actually undead but it's possible she'll be able to tell something's a little off. If she ever wants to control her, let's chat.

She used to be a lich, but recently got a big, ol' upgrade to being a servant of the goddess of death as one of her bounty hunters, so she's more like a grim reaper type, complete with scythe for ferrying souls. If Sabriel has a true sight kind of sense, Lup would appear to look like a skeleton in a heavy cloak. Her husband is also a necromancer, so he's definitely rubbed off on Lup a lot of dark magic of his own.
