So! Sabriel is a necromancer, as well as something of a magical generalist.
So this means that she can sense and control the undead- she can also raise them, but since she's an Abhorsen, she'd really prefer to use her powers to make them really, really dead. She will eventually get over this, but be prepared to have Sabriel Not Like your character at first, no matter how nice they are, if they're undead.
Sabriel's second thing is her more general magic, called Charter Magic! it can do pretty much all of your standard magical things- healing, offensive applications, wards, bindings, enchanting items-but that's not all- it's passed on by baptism, not birth- so other characters can potentially learn how to use it! Of course, for balances sake, they won't be able to learn more than five spells and must have an open power slot- and must post to the power update request page. Charter Magic can do a lot of things, but it does have limits. (The major ones are No Shapeshifting (Possible in canon, but Sabriel doesn't have access to that knowledge) No Teleporting and No Flight.) Also, it doesn't mix well with technology, so trying to use it to enchant guns or computers will just break them.

Is your character undead/a ghost/some kind of spirit? If so, can Sabriel sense this? Can she try to control them?
Yes, heroic spirit/servant. Yes, though it's masked slightly by the fact that he is in a true living body (which is even mortal). Yes, though without a contract ( :3 ) she probably won't have much success. He's a hard to control spirit just by his class alone.
Is it all right for Sabriel to use magic on your character?
Yeah! He has a natural magic resistance, though. Ranked D, meaning it automatically nullifies single action spells (or in Sabriel's case, something from a single charter mark), and is of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.
If your character has magical abilities, is it all right for Sabriel to sense when they're using them?
Yes. Servants are technically made of pure mana, though it is undetectable by most human mages. Servants that are not using their abilities much or at all can typically only be sensed by other Servants, with a range of detection that depends on their Magic parameter (Archer's is B), but since Sabriel is already aware of spirits, she should be able to tell anyway. Without a Master, though, it's considerably fainter. Or something.
If your character has at least one empty power slot and isn't undead, would you be interested in Sabriel teaching them magic?

Is your character a robot/cyborg/technopath prone to carrying around technology?
Nothing more than his issued phone thing, maybe a watch.
If so, is it okay for Sabriel's magic to temporarily mess them/their stuff up?
Yes! Even better since his third power is to be able to dematerialize himself into digital technology, so she might make it difficult to move around or even stay like that.
