I do not think he would be surprised at what you did.

However, I suspect you both may have feelings to work out on the matter. It would be cruel to keep those from him, considering his nature.

Doing what I did broke a promise that I made to my father. And even if it didn't strictly violate my role as Abhorsen... I worry that it will encourage the wrong mindset. In myself, and others, if they learn of what I can do.
